About Rialto Arts

Rialto Arts was founded and is run by Roger Kay, collaborating with many artists and reviewers.

 

On this site, you can find most of Roger's past reviews and feature articles, and a synopisis of past in-house productions.

The production company - Rialto Productions - came into being when the Rialto Theatre closed its doors for the last time in 2023.

The aim is to continue the work achieved by Pretty Villain Productions (the previous in-house artistic company) since 2013. Previous works are catalogued under Past Productions.
 

A writer specialising in music, Pete Greenfield joined the team in April 26.

Rialto Arts would not exist without Lauren Varnfield (below), co-founder and co-Artistic Director of Rialto Theatre and Pretty Villain Productions, who sadly passed away in 2023. Rialto Arts is dedicated to her memory.
