Details of Rialto Arts Award at this year's Fringe Festival
In line with awards already issued at Brighton Fringe and Prague Fringe, Rialto Arts will issue an Outstanding Performance Award. Similar awards are expected at other Fringe Festivals later in the year.
This could be a solo or ensemble piece; it won’t necessarily be the best production. The purpose is to enable the performer or company to signpost independent recognition of excellence, to offer possible future development, funding or touring, and to provide a possible gateway to other Fringes around the world.
No application is required and is open to all.
The Award will be a physical certificate, an article on website, an electronic certificate, mentoring for next work (if desired), access to and advice on World Fringe network (if desired) and a feature article and/or preview for future production(s).
The jury window will be 5th to 22nd August 2026.
