Brighton’s iconic On The Beach festival returns

Brighton’s On The Beach festival returns this July, for its sixth annual outing, bringing internationally acclaimed acts across two summer weekends.
Set against the backdrop of the English Channel, the festival has become one of the UK's most distinctive live music events. Its unique location was recognised earlier this year when On The Beach won ‘Best Location’ at the Skiddle Awards 2026.
This year's line-up features an array of household names and legendary performers, with headline sets from Fatboy Slim, Madness, The Maccabees and Moby.
Brighton favourite Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook) remains one of electronic music's most influential figures. After finding early success with The Housemartins, he helped define the big beat movement with classics including “Praise You”, “Weapon Of Choice”, “The Rockafeller Skank” and “Right Here, Right Now”.
Madness first rose to fame during the late-1970s and early-1980s ska revival before becoming one of Britain's most popular bands. Now firmly established as national treasures, their catalogue includes timeless hits such as “Our House”, “House Of Fun”, “My Girl” and “Baggy Trousers”.
UK Indie band The Maccabees reunited after several years apart and continue their celebrated comeback following headline performances at All Points East and Glastonbury last year. Fan favourites include “Forever I’ve Known”, “About Your Dress”, “Love You Better” and “Pelican”.
Electronic music pioneer Moby achieved global success during the 1990s through his distinctive blend of dance, rock and alternative influences. A multi-award-winning artist, his music has become a fixture of popular culture, featuring in The Beach and The Bourne Identity. His best-known tracks include “Porcelain”, “Natural Blues”, “Extreme Ways” and “Bodyrock”.
The headline acts are only part of the story. On The Beach spans eight shows across two weekends, showcasing more than 40 artists in a celebration of electronic, indie and alternative music.
The impressive line-up includes Groove Armada, Seth Troxler, Editors, Simon Pegg, The Blockheads, Craig Charles, The Selecter, Miles Kane, Jayda G, Anna Calvi, Ash, Badly Drawn Boy, Derrick Carter, Layo & Bushwacka, Ewan Mcvicar, Kirollus and HoneyLuv.
Additional shows have already been added and many events have already sold out. There remains very limited availability for the others – see https://onthebeachbrighton.com/tickets.html.
On The Beach is in association with Radio X, Louderand Joy. Concerts.
